I'm excited to have finally started a photography blog! For the past 8 months I've just been posting all my pictures on facebook. But I've become a much better photographer than I was 8 months ago and I'm actually starting to get paid for my pictures! I decided it was time to create a more official place to show off my photography :)
For my first post I decided to post my top ten favorite pictures I've taken. I thought it'd be really hard to decided because I've taken LOTS of pictures. I'm slowing down our computer with all my pictures..
But as I was going through them, I knew very quickly that these were my favorites:
Ah, this picture! I took it over 3 years ago for a photography class I took my Senior year. It was taken at Beaus Pond. This is the first really good picture I've taken and edited and I think it's what's sparked my desire to keep going with photography!
I took this picture this summer while working at Camp Bartlett. We were having a lost scout drill and me and 4 other girls were bush wacking our way to lower lake when we came across this beauty! I was lucky enough to have my camera on me and I was very happy with the result.
This was taken the night before the night before Halloween! I was hanging out in my front yard and I looked up and the sky turned like this! It's one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen and I'm so glad I got a picture of it.
Taken in Beautiful Monument Valley! I love the depth and the contrast.
This was taken like 3 days after I got my new camera. I went picture happy in my backyard and got this awesome shot!
There was another picture of this girl that I liked better cause you could see her face, but it some how disappeared from my photography folder.. But I got to take some cute easter pictures of this cute little girl and her brother! Bubbles make for some fun pictures :)
While Emily and Layne were getting some of their engagement pictures done, I took some pictures of Bethany! Doesn't she look nice? And the contrast is awesome.
This picture proves that you can get some pretty amazing close ups with a little point and shoot camera! I decided to stalk some of the bees in our flower garden and managed to get a perfect shot of this guy :)
This is my favorite picture I took of Emily and Layne on their big day!
This was the couple I took reception pictures for last week! They were such a sweet, happy couple. So in love! Though, I didn't notice that those little white dots were till now..
And there you have it! My favorite pictures.
